Messages

The Messages module allows sending and managing messages to and from subscribers.
Two types of messages are supported:

• Text Messages
• Status Messages

Text Messages

• Free-text messages can be sent to subscribers.
• Templates can be used to simplify sending:
• Global Templates (shared across the system)
• Personal Templates (specific to the current user)

Status Messages

• Sent from the list of configured Custom SDS status codes.
• Each status message references a predefined code and message.

Message History and Archiving

• Every incoming and outgoing message is recorded with a timestamp.
• Messages can be archived.
• Archived messages are:
• Not displayed in the default view
• Can be shown via the "Show Archived" button
• Archived messages can also be deleted permanently.
